Summer is here.

Now is the time for recovery, reflection and enjoying life. We on Yesbox want to share some tips to help you recharge your batteries. We are inspired by the Healthy Mind Platter, created by Dr. Daniel J. Siegel and Drs. David Rock. The model helps to balance different daily activities for better mental health.

Prioritize Sleep

Sleep is important. Make sure you get 7-9 hours of sleep every night. Your body and mind need rest to feel good.

Stay Active

Summer is perfect for outdoor activities. Go for walks, cycle, swim or try a new sport. 30 minutes of exercise every day is good for both body and mind.

Focus on Development

Take time for focused work or studies even during the summer. Read a book, listen to inspiring podcasts or learn something new. Find a shady spot and enjoy getting things done in a relaxed environment.

Play and Create

Play is important for your well-being. Play games, do crafts, paint or laugh with friends and family. Bring out your inner childishness and have fun.

Take Time for Relaxation

Do nothing sometimes. Sit in a garden, read a book or listen to birdsong. Relaxation helps you recharge your batteries.

Reflect in Silence

Use the summer for reflection. Think about your goals and values. Reflect on the past year and gain new insights.

Strengthen Your Relationships

Spend time with loved ones. Have long talks, share laughs and make memories together. Strong relationships make for a richer life.
