Discover the team's differences in a Driving Force Analysis
What is a driving force analysis and why is it important? Here we go one step further to not only improve communication but also strengthen your personal motivations.
Have you heard of DISC analysis and its use of colors to describe personalities? Most often, DISC analysis is done on an overall level where one or two colors are assigned to represent one's personality.
With Yesbox we take step further through a driving force analysis that gives you more precise advice and insights.
We humans use different filters to manage the stream of information that reaches us through our senses. By carrying out a "driving force and language analysis” we can understand how we and others communicate and are motivated by specific behaviors. Through insights from this analysis, we can not only develop our teams, but also collaborate on a whole new level.
These filters and patterns are used both when we receive and when we share information. They are important for handling the large amount of information we encounter on a daily basis.
When is the driving force analysis useful?
This method is invaluable for understanding and reaching each individual, but also for optimizing groups. By understanding which behaviors and communication styles dominate or are lacking within a team, it becomes easier to develop and change. We can fill in the behaviors that are missing or make the group aware of possible imbalances and act accordingly.
In behavioral analysis, we always consider the context, i.e. the current situation. Sometimes we may want change and variety, while in other contexts we prefer constancy. We often start from the broad picture, the current working situation.
The Scientific basis
The driving force analysis is based on the Language and Behavior Profile.
"Language and Behavior (LAB) Profile is a powerful tool for understanding and influencing the behavior of others. It was created by Roger Bailey and comes from NLP's (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Meta program.” - Dr. Pamela C. Campanelli
Fast and efficient analysis
Our 20 questions are asked quickly and easily, in contrast to DISC which can be perceived as more intrusive. We use scale questions that give greater freedom and deeper insight without respondents feeling forced.

Starting point
The driving force analysis is based on the Shelle Rose Charvet "Words that change minds - LAB Profile" which is described as being for you who want to be able to influence other people's behavior and motivation using your communication. It's about identifying yours and others motivationstriggers that describe how someone thinks, gets motivated and makes decisions in different situations.
By becoming aware of yours and others motivationstriggers you can:
- Create better contact with others
- Become more precise in your communication
- Increase motivationone in yourself and others
- Understand how other people perceive the world.
